HOW TO ORDER FROM US

Select the book. Add the cost of the books together
with postage/Courier charge and send along with your order. |

Ordering books by post |
|
| |
Books packages are sent by printed book rate(PBR)
which is the cheapest form of dispatching books in India. 5kg is the
maximum limit for a package sent by PBR. Postage takes between a week
to 3 weeks for delivery depending on your location. |

Cash on -delivery time |
|
| |
Books are sent by V.P.P and thus the money can be paid to the postman
when it reaches you |

Ordering by Courier |
|
| |
We send books by courier. However since the courier
charges vary, depending on the proximity of the state you reside in,
we cannot quote fixed rates for courier. However, it is estimated that
inside Kerala it would cost about 15 per kg but that too may differ
depending upon the location to which it is to be sent. On request ( by
telephone or e-mail) we will inform you that exact courier charge.
In case, there is no courier service to the address mentioned in the
order, Registered postal service of the Dept. of post will be used.

Currently we ship books via AIRMAIL and SURFACE
MAIL using the Indian postal service. You may call us or e-mail us
describing the number and types of books required and we will inform
you the shipping rate. via e-mail. In case you require any further

BULK ORDER |
|

Bulk orders are usually sent through Railway/Road
transport. Packing and forwarding charge + VAT may have to be paid.
This is applicable only inside India. For further details contact us. |

Time |
|

Altermedia will ship all orders immediately after
payment has been received. Indian orders take one to two weeks to
be delivered after being dispatched to the post office. Airmail orders
to the rest of the world are likely to take anywhere up to a month to
be delivered. Surface mail usually take about 3 months |

RETURNS |

Altermedia does not accept any returns except under the following
circumstances. |

In those rarest of rare cases where there has been
some error at our end. eg. the wrong books have been sent to you.. In
that case, let us know the details at the earliest and please send
back the books. We will cover your mailing cost and replace the book.
Altermedia cannot accept responsibility for damage caused by
mishandling, by the postal system. Nevertheless, if a book reaches you
in an irrevocably damaged condition, Please return the copy for
replacement. |

For items other than books, packing and forwarding
charge and VAT charges may be included to arrive at the final cost.
For organic and other products since they are taxable , an amount
ranging from 1% to 12% of the product is included with the product
price, and the customers may be required to pay the same[ Please note

What are the different payment options Available?
We accept demand drafts, cheques, money orders and bank transfer mode.
We also send products through V.P.P |

Demand Draft and
Money Order |
|
|
| |
You can select "Demand Draft" or " Money order" as payment method and
get an order registered with us. Order will processed after the
receipt of the DD or MO. Your order will be cancelled if we do not
receive your payment in 40 business days. Please make the DD payable
at Trichur, Kerala.
Please write the draft No and Bank drawn and also your fall name and
the order number at the back of your DD. The D.D drawn in favour of
Altermedia, may then be mailed to us (Address of Altermedia). In case
of MO please write the order number in the space for communication. |

We have multi location accounts with UTI and Federal Bank. The account can be
accessed through any of UTI branches in India. You can now pay for
your orders by simply depositing a cheque into our current account No:

Once the amount is credited to our account, supplies shall be affected
from our shop. This shall result in a saving of both time and cost.
Your can also pay cheques in favour of Altermedia at Federal Bank's
M.O Road Branch at Trichur
